The University Otorhinolaryngology Clinic is staffed by Medical and other staff from the Department of Medicine of the Democritus University of Thrace and the hospital where it operates. The Medical Staff consists of the Chair along with members of the Teaching Research Staff of the Department whose scientific occupation falls within the teaching, research and clinical interests of the relevant clinic. This staff is supplemented with specialized doctors of the National Health Service placed in accordance with the provisions in force.  Other clinic staff includes members of the Special Technical Laboratory Staff and members of the nursing staff, whose work is determined by the needs of the relevant clinic contextually. Teaching Research Staff and Special Technical Laboratory Personnel placement is being conducted under the provisions of the university legislations, while other members’ placement according to the valid provisions.
